Building the Dream Team

Building the Dream Team

In the past month, we have been speaking with many influential and successful individuals and are building our dream team to serve as our Board of Advisors. We feel that this addition to our team will assist us in filling in the gaps for any experience we may lack.

During the First World War, a Chicago newspaper ran a story that claimed Henry Ford was ignorant due to not having a formal education. Ford sued the paper for libel and in an attempt to prove Ford was in fact uneducated and ignorant, they put him on the witness stand. They began to ask Ford questions based on history and other basic knowledge that an ‘educated’ man would know. After getting the questions wrong and growing tired of the questions, Ford said this:

“If I should really WANT to answer the foolish question you have just asked, or any of the other questions you have been asking me, let me remind you that I have a row of electric push-buttons on my desk, and by pushing the right button, I can summon to my aid men who can answer ANY question I desire concerning the business to which I am devoting most of my efforts. Now, will you kindly tell me, WHY I should clutter up my mind with general knowledge, for the purpose of being able to answer questions, when I have men around me who can supply any knowledge I require?”

We have buttons on our desk as well, and we intend to use them.
